Arsenal's Lukas Podolski celebrates after scoring
Arsenal's Lukas Podolski celebrates after scoring against Liverpool during their English Premier League soccer match at Anfield Stadium, Liverpool, England, Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012
First goals for Lukas Podolski and Santi Cazorla ensured that an impressive Arsenal saw off Liverpool 2-0 in their Premier League clash at Anfield.
my comments
Cazorla - what a player. Good performance from Podolski too and the backline looks really solid. Joe Allen could be a bargain, that Zidane turn near the edge of the box was sublime. Suarez's finishing or diving showing no signs of improvement.
But one thing that was really pissing off again was the pro-Liverpool biased commentary. Completely baffling. Reina's second howler in a week barely got a mention as did Cazorla's brilliance. Diaby being criticised despite playing very well and no Liverpool player getting criticised without something positive being mentioned about them at first.
And finally, "Liverpool have outplayed Arsenal completely in most areas of the pitch".. Wtf was that??
